Dion's Pizza 8010 Academy Rd NE

First time trying Dion's and it's so so good! I tried the green chili pizza and fell in love with it. Instant favorite! Their lemonade was nice and tart, just like I like it.

The 505 pizza with pepperoni and ketchup greenchiles!! The ranch salad with pastami!!

Excellent customer service, as always! We stopped into this location to inquire about reserving an area to host our January 24th Wedding Rehearsal party. Olivia, the day Manager, gave us great information on ways they could host us. Although we couldn't reserve an area in the restaurant on a busy Friday night, she suggested we contact catering and have our order delivered. We did that, and it worked out perfectly for us! Our out-of-town guests loved the flavors of Dion's. We all do—we are huge fans!

One of the best Dion’s locations! Staff is very friendly, restaurant is always clean, and mountain views are a bonus. Really can’t go wrong with the Dion’s menu, but personal favorites are Turkey & Swiss and Italian subs and of course their pizza! Love classic pepperoni, lots of times with green chile to give it that New Mexican flavor, but whatever you’re into it’ll be delicious, it’s Dion’s, one of the most respectable Albuquerque businesses now going 45 years strong!

A big thank you to the staff of Dion's! We hosted a fairly large children's birthday party in the back room and it went very well. About 40 people. The staff had the reserved sign out when we arrived. There were no mistakes on our large order. Very good work!

Some of the best PIZZA in Albuquerque! Customer service is alway’s good. Friendly staff and the food comes out fresh! If you haven’t tried the food, you need too!! FAST and FRESH!!!

Dions is my absolute favorite place. Moving out to Louisiana 2 years ago. I craved Dions. It was the first place we stopped at (after seeing my family, of course). The food is great quality. The service is always great. You can't beat the selection. If I could, I would bring a Dions down to Baton Rouge LA. I'm taking home a few bottles of dressing with me, too.

Dion's is a good, cheap, and reliable place to get a pizza, salad, and/or sub sandwich. That's probably why the locally owned chain has always done so well in the greater Northern New Mexican area. This location on Academy is usually my go-to spot as it has the closet proximity to my apartment. I'm lucky that it is too, as this Dion's has a lot it to be given credit for. Whether it's the restaurant's friendly service, cleanliness, large size, plentiful seating, quick service, and scenic view(s). Dion's on Academy is no doubt one of the top standard bearers within the chain. Upon my most recent visit during the late-night hours; I found myself in the mood for a large ham and cheese sub. I placed my order and after about ten minutes my name was called over the intercom. Despite having said to the cashier that I intended to dine-in, my meal had been prepared to-go. No harm done, however, as it was a simple mistake that ended working out in my favor as I just took the second-half home for later. The sandwich itself was jammed packed full of meat and cheese and the kitchen was generous (as usual) when it came to my side order of chips. An overall pleasant late-night diner and I owe the fine people at Dion's on Academy for making it happen. This particular area of town isn't too abundant in restaurant options, so keep this place in mind if looking for a satisfying bite without breaking the bank.
